Have courage and be kind.
Snezhana Soosh is a 37-year-old artist from the Ukraine. She recently began posting some heartwarming illustrations of a father and his daughter on instagram. The images are sadly not from experience as her own father was not part of her life. She hopes they’ll inspire young men, like her own son, to be present in their daughter’s lives when they have a family of their own. There are currently 14 paintings in the series, but hopefully she will add more. I absolutely love this! (Source)
As a dad to be this warms my heart
I just can’t believe it would ever happen. Every gov’t is usually so kicked against LGBTQ community. And these beautiful people just SLAYED.
This makes the whole world proud.

I need you to take a moment out of your day to think about this:
achilles playing with patroclus’ hair

My daughter loves Star Wars
look i know i reblogged this last night but i just love it so much
I seriously can’t love this any harder.

Finally on break so I can draw some Hamart/Modern Day Schuyler Sisters. Psst that’s Common Sense in Angelica’s pocket and poor Peggy is probably calling for a ride home.
ugh it’s perfect. it’s literally like the cutest, sweetest number in the whole show tbh.
i did cover some of it in this ask but i will talk about it more in depth here!!
so it starts with everyone just sorta chilling on stage, there’s this pose which i think technically happens at the end of a winter’s ball but the songs just blend together anyway so uh
the schuyler sisters walk in together, nbd. if i’m not mistaken laurens grabs peggy and starts dancing with her
and gossiping about cute boys. angelica is stage right talkin to some dudes and eliza is like a bit left of center sorta singing to the audience on her own. hamilton walks in and she does see him and it’s so SWEET ugh ham comes in from upstage so she has her back to the audience ish when she sees him and then she spins around to the audience all excited and adorable and slays my gay assANYWAY so ham’s sorta talking to the other dudes on stage, ang goes back over to eliza and she’s like “this one’s mine” of course, so ang walks over to ham and talks to him and it’s only for like a few beats, which of course is expanded on in satisfied. SO
eliza talks to ham a bit, then pretty much everyone peaces out. it’s funny though when they’re talking because they’re next 2 angelica and she’s just standing there like :| and then her face when she says “i’ll leave you to it” is basically my face whenever a straight couple interacts near me i feel u ang SO after they talk for a few beats everyone sorta peaces out and the lights change, like they’re not at the party anymore
SO they’re at the schuyler residence talking about the letters, there’s this ADORABLE moment where peggy is holding the letters up in the air and she does a little dance with them, it’s adorable and precious, but eliza runs over and grabs them from her and reads them real quick. AND THEN (if im not mistaken) she stashes them in the drawer of a little cabinet stage left, which is FORESHADOWING ish because that’s where ham keeps the reynolds letters in act 2 :O
anyway!!! ang’s harem line is cute, they’re all 3 reading one of the letters all close to each other and eliza gives her this cute little look and ang laughs her off ugh they love each other so much someone hold me!!!!
so!! ham asking phillip schuyler for eliza’s hand is cool, they’re both standing upstage talking to each other, almost out of the light, and eliza is with ang and peggy in the living room stressing as she tells us! i’m pretty sure dad schuyler is played by the same guy who plays james reynolds in act 2 but i could be wrong!
SO MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PART THOUGH. after dad schuyler says yes and shakes ham’s hand ham like runs out into the living room and does this little victory dance (x) but stops when he notices dad schuyler giving him a look. holy shit you don’t even KNOW. it’s the most adorable thing you’ll EVER SEE IN YOUR LIFE.
bolded for emphasis bc i just really want people to know this. im not doing it justice it’s BREATHTAKINGLY CUTE. that gif was the closest one i could find but it’s not quiiiite it but anyway
SO after that precious bit it’s kinda just ham talking to eliza, holding her hands and facing her, it’s really sweet and it almost makes you forget that in 15odd years he’s gonna cheat on her, tell the world about it, then get himself killed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
so then one of the chorus members really quick puts eliza’s veil in, it’s really simple, just a clip-in hairpiece. the bit where the wedding march plays is her walking down the fake aisle to ham!! cute!! the song ends with them looking deeply into each other’s eyes, voila!! & then it goes into satisfied!! :0
